Amino Acids and Whey Protein When following a strict resistance or endurance training programme, a higher protein intake may be required. There are 20 amino acids that the body uses to make proteins, of which nine are ‘essential’, meaning that they cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through the diet. Whey Protein contains all nine essential amino acids, making it an ideal option for those looking to increase their protein intake. In addition to fast acting Whey Protein, Wellman Restore contains an additional source of branched-chain amino acids, including the essential amino acids L-Valine, L-Leucine and L-Isoleucine, providing a total of 14.4g of protein per serving. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and helps to maintain normal bones. This enriched formula also contains magnesium, which contributes to normal protein synthesis. Supporting Energy and Performance Vitamins A, B6 and D have been added along with folate as they contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Wellman Restore contains a blend of B-vitamins including pantothenic acid and vitamin B6 which contribute to normal energy release and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Directions:
Add 50g powder (1 serving – approx. 1 scoop) to 300-350 ml of cold water and shake well. Take one serving following your workout.
