UrgoStart Plus Pad Wound Dressings
With its unique TLC-NOSF*
Healing Matrix, UrgoStart Plus is the only treatment that addresses 2 key local
factors to reduce healing time: inhibition of excess MMPs and promotion of
angiogenesis.
Simultaneously, its unique
poly-absorbent fibres bind, trap and retain exudate, slough and debris present
in the wound, continually cleaning the wound during treatment.
UrgoStart Plus Pad is a
dressing indicated for all healing phases* (from the desloughing phase* through
to healing) in the treatment of chronic exuding wounds (leg ulcers, pressure
ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) and acute wounds that are failing to heal.
The UrgoStart Plus Pad is 1
simple solution from Day 1 to Complete Healing. It is highly conformable and
can be cut to fit the shape and size of the wound. It is suitable for damaged
surrounding skin. It can be cut and used under compression.
UrgoStart Plus Pad is always
to be used as part of a holistic treatment approach, with the appropriate
standard of care (e.g. compression, offloading, pressure relief, etc).
