The foam wound dressing with the special hydrophilic foam structure. PermaFoam Concave wound dressing for the treatment on heel and elbow; the specific shape has around the edges a hypoallergenic adhesive film, is easy to apply and provides safe adhesion.
Absorbent polyurethane foam wound dressing that manages exudate whilst facilitating a moist wound environment. This allows for autolytic debridement and supports the development of granulation tissue.
The specific shape is suitable for treatment in the sacral region; has around the edges a hypoallergenic adhesive film for a safe hold.
PermaFoam has a capillary structure that provides vertical wicking of exudate from the wound surface, minimising the risk of maceration at wound edges.
Retains up to 90% of capacity under standard compression. Also available with adhesive border.infected wounds as with any semi-permiable wound dressing.

PermaFoam is a highly conformable wound dressing. PermaFoam can be used for any moderately to highly exudating wound
including:
– pressure ulcers
– leg ulcers
– superficial burns
– superficial abrasions
Contraindications:
– Partial and full thinkness burns
– PermaFoam Comfort is contraindicated in the treatment of infected wounds as with any semi-permiable wound dressing.
Uses:
For the treatment of clinically non-infected, highly to moderately exudating wounds in the wound cleansing stage and granulation stage; especially for chronic problematic wounds such as leg ulcers or decubitus; particularly suitable for the treatment of venous ulcers in combination with a compression treatment; for the treatment of burns up to degree 2a; for deeper wounds or difficult-to-treat problem zones the specific shapes are used.
