What is Movelat Relief Gel?
Movelat Relief Gel is a gel that provides anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties that work to treat muscle pains, stiffness, sprains and strains, as well as arthritis. The active ingredients in this gel are mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) and salicylic acid. MPS is an anti-inflammatory agent that has been used in treatments for muscle aches and pains for over 50 years. Salicylic acid is an active ingredient found in numerous skin care products to provide relief for conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. In this gel, salicylic acid will help to reduce pain in the muscles.
What causes muscle pain?
Muscle pain is most likely to be the result of overusing the muscle, or an injury. Exercising is a common cause, as tension and stress on the muscles can stiffen them, causing pain. Another cause of pain in the muscles is stress. Stress causes the body to tense up, which causes a hormone to be released, known as cortisol. Cortisol tenses the muscles up and increases pain sensitivity. An infection, such as a cold or the flu, can also cause muscle pain. Long-term muscle pain and aching can be attributed to conditions such as arthritis.

This gel is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 12 and over. Do not use this gel if you are allergic to any of the ingredients contained in the gel. This gel should not be used on the broken or infected skin. It should also not be used on skin affected by eczema.
