Medihoney Honey Calcium Alginate Dressing
Medihoney Antibacterial Honey Apinate Dressing protects the wound by creating a barrier against wound pathogens, including antibiotic resistant strains, and therefore reducing the risk of infection. The osmotic action produces an outflow of body fluid which assists the removal of wound bacteria, endotoxins, debris and slough, providing a cleaner wound, rapidly removing malodour and helping to reduce the inflammatory response, oedema and exudate levels. Granulation and epithelialisation are enhanced through provisionof the optimal healing environment.
