L-Mesitran Net Non-Adherent Dressing
A non-adherent open polyester mesh coated with a thin layer of L-Mesitran gel to provide gentle and permeable wound bed protection. The open mesh structure of this conformable dressing helps to protect the surrounding tissue from maceration whilst allowing the free passage of wound exudate. Exudate can be absorbed by a secondary dressing of choice (e.g. DryMax Extra).
When to use L-Mesitran Net:
L-Mesitran Net is indicated for low to heavily exuding chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers, superficial and partial thickness burns, venous, arterial and diabetic ulcers and fungating wounds. It is also indicated for acute wounds such as donor sites, surgical wounds and cuts and abrasions. The dressing can remain in place for up to 5 days.
