Trans Film and transparent island dressing Adhesive, transparent semi-permeable, film dressings which are waterproof and bacteria proof. Hydrofilm is used as a primary dressing to cover post operative and trauma wounds or as a secondary dressing for retention purposes. Hydrofilm Plus Features: a low adherent pad attached to the film. Impermeable to water and body fluids, protecting the skin underneath and allowing the resident to shower without changing dressings.
