Gaviscon Advance Liquid
Gaviscon Advance is a thick oral solution that is formulated to provide long-lasting, soothing and instant relief from indigestion, reflux cough and heartburn. This medicine belongs to a group of ‘reflux suppressants’.
Unlike Gaviscon Original, Gaviscon Advance has a double concentration of ingredients like sodium alginate and Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate. It creates a resilient raft or a protective layer over the contents of the stomach, thus, preventing acid to come back into the food pipe or the oesophagus.
– Each glass bottle contains 250ml of pleasant-tasting and refreshing liquid.
– Recommended for adults, elderly and children above 12 years of age.
– Also safe for use during pregnancy.
Shake well before use.
Adults, including the elderly and children 12 years and over:5-10ml (one to two 5ml Spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, or as directed.
Children under 12 years: Should only be taken on medical advice.

Each 1ml dose or oral suspension contains sodium alginate 1mg and potassium bicarbonate 2mg as the active ingredients. It also contains calcium carbonate, carbomer, methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, sodium saccharin, sodium hydroxide, aniseed flavour and purified water.
This product is sugar-free and gluten-free.
