Duofilm Paint Wart Treatment 15ml
Duofilm Wart Treatment is a treatment for warts which helps to soften the wart until it falls away from your skin. Ideal for those who are looking to get rid of a wart and can be used in children over the age of two.
What are warts?
Warts are caused by a virus which infects the top layers of your skin and can spread when the virus touches damaged skin. They are more likely to spread in warm and moist areas, which is why one of the most common places to catch warts is at the swimming pool. When you’ve caught the virus which causes warts, it can take anything from a few weeks to a few months for a wart to appear on your skin.
How does Duofilm Wart Treatment treat warts?
Duofilm Wart Treatment contains two active ingredients which work together to treat warts. These ingredients are salicylic acid and lactic acid, and they work to soften the skin of the wart until it simply peels off.
How to use:
Use Duofilm Wart Treatment once a day before bedtime and always use the brush included in the pack. Remove any plasters you are using to cover the area and soak the warts in hot water for 5 minutes. Dry the area with your own towel and rub the top of the warts carefully with a pumice stone, nail file, emery board, or coarse washcloth. Put on enough Duofilm Wart Treatment to cover the warts and let dry. Cover the wart with a plaster to help the ingredients work. Repeat every day until you can see the lines of your skin or until the wart has been treated for 12 weeks.
Children under the age of 12 years should only be treated under medical supervision.
When should Duofilm Wart Treatment not be used?
Duofilm Wart Treatment is not suitable for children under the age of 2.
Children younger than 12 should always be supervised by an adult when using this product.
