Covawound Foam Silicone Adhesive Border Dressing
A self-adherent soft silicone foam dressing with integral soft silicone border to allow fixation without any need for secondary fixation or bandaging.
The dressing absorbs moderate to heavy exudate, maintains a moist wound healing environment and prevents epidermal stripping or pain upon removal. Highly conformable and easy to apply, the silicone surface allows the dressing to be easily applied and positioned on the wound. The soft silicone border allows for positioning and re-positioning accordingly.
Indications for Use
CovaWound Silicone is indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds, such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic and surgical wounds, and superficial and partial thickness burns.
Application
– Cleanse the wound in accordance with normal procedures.
– Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
– Remove the release liner and apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch.

– Border wound pad should overlap the wound edges by at least 2 cm.
